In this edition of the Affiliate Buzz Podcast, James Martell, successful publisher, speaker and author talks with his special guest, his wife Arlene, about tips and strategies she used to get her podcast off the ground to build traffic, increase sales and get the word out about her site sharing 7 tips on preparing for the interview.
Getting a podcast off and running often comes with a knee jerk reaction of “I can’t do that” and Arlene was no different. She confesses that a year later she couldn’t even imagine her site without a podcast.
Her site, EpilepsyMoms.com is devoted to helping parents of children with seizures find answers and real solutions for seizure control. Although not a mainstream affiliate site Arlene shares that there are many products available that she can recommend for parents in similar situations that can help make their journey with epilepsy much easier.
James brings Arlene right back to that very first moment she was told that she needed to do a podcast. She shares that her first reaction was fear and feeling overwhelmed but after learning how to plan, prepare and break the process down the overwhelm diminished. She has been able to provide families with answers and alternatives as well as promote her site all over with her podcast.
