In this edition of the Affiliate Buzz audio newsletter, James Martell, successful publisher, speaker and author talks with host Charles Johnston about the lifestyle of working online, removing a mindset of being geographically bound, how the industry has grown and what Google now offers to improve your business.

James talks with Charles about his recent trip over to Vancouver Island with the family.  The Martells hopped on a ferry and arrived in a nice, small atmosphere.  They talk about the island and how it is a real magical place where you can unwind and relax.  He stresses to listeners that trips like these are a need in this business. You work hard and then you take some time off to clear your head before you are ready to go again.

James and Charles discuss that working on the internet is really a lifestyle.  To have the opportunity to pick up and head off on a breakation when you hit a brick wall is something you just can’t do as an employee.  Charles shares that James takes a lot of breaks and goes to a number of conferences all while his business keeps on going along.

James and Charles talk about the tendency for people to become geographically bound.  James looks back and shares all the places he has been able to work from including cruise ships, Maui and countless other places.  He shares that it sure is nice to feel the warm Hawaiian breeze blowing in while you’re tapping away on your computer.  He reflects on the amount of freedom that genuine business people can have with affiliate marketing.
