Affiliate Buzz #60 – Getting Noticed by the Search Engines is More than Original, Keyword Rich Content

In this edition of the Affiliate Buzz audio newsletter, James Martell, successful publisher, speaker and author talks with host Charles Johnston about the Pubcon search engine conference, Google’s algorithm updates, understanding search engine SPAM and using the tools provided by Google.

James and Charles discuss the recent search enginge conference called Pubcon.  James shares the format of the conference and describes the layout of the sessions.  They discuss that this conference is focused around search engines and optimizing for the ranks.

James and Charles wrap up this session by talking about Google Sitemap, a tool offered by Google to help you build a page that they can read and provide you with errors that may prevent the spiders from moving through your site.  James shares the other tool is Google Analytics to monitor your visitors.
