In this edition of the Affiliate Buzz audio newsletter, James Martell, successful publisher, speaker and author talks with host Charles Johnston about the history and maturity of the affiliate industry, outsourcing for professional content using Elance, understand the PAD technique and how to make it work for you.

James talks with Charles a little bit about the history of getting ranked in the search engines for natural search.  He shares how the search engines went through an evolution with their algorithm and how that impacted the natural search results.  He shares some necessary changes that each affiliate marketer had to make if they wanted to continue in this business.

Then they talk about the flexibility that comes from organizations like Elance.  James talks about going to Elance.com to find writers to help create content for the site and shares some tips on what he does to get good, quality content and a simple trick to get some backlinks to your site from these writers.

Then discuss the significance of the PAD technique and share with buzz listeners about a 4 week workshop that is built on step number 8 in the manual.  He shares that although many people find this step to be extremely difficult it really is simple.  He shares some emails from other students that were able to fully grasp the PAD technique and make it work for them.
