In this edition of the Affiliate Buzz audio newsletter, James Martell, successful publisher, speaker and author talks with host Charles Johnston about the different opportunities being promoted online today, real examples of success with affiliate marketing, and how this business is more about communication and publishing.

James talks with Charles about the recent Bare Naked Ladies concert he and his wife Arlene attended.  They talk about how this band has grown into a world wide phenomena and is one of his favorite bands.  He and Arlene headed down to the gym and enjoyed the concert with a wide age range of other fans from little kids to grandpas.

Next they talk about how so many online opportunities are out there on the internet but don’t live up to what they offer.  They talk about the skepticism people get after being fooled by these offers that have good, professional copy leading you to buy their product.

James talks with Charles about the students of the online training and some of the success they have found.  They discuss the huge range of backgrounds and countries that each of these students come from.  He shares one of his students attended the 2001 training when he was an insurance agent.  He started building his sites and started taking his cash flow from affiliate marketing to invest in real estate in Calgreen.

Then They talk about another student who first got started at the age of 19.  At the time she was going to school and working at the local grocery store, but wasn’t making enough money.  She started building cool little sites and funded her entire university.  Each summer as her friends headed off for summer jobs to cover costs she could fly off to Europe and truly enjoy her breaks.
