James and Charles talk about the Affiliate Summit down in Las Vegas how well the event went.  James shares some of the history of the summit and how well you can get to know people that attend from year to year.  Then they the topics he covered as a speaker at the Affiliate Summit this year.

James and Charles discuss the different topics that was covered at the Affiliate Summit and shares the popularity of each.  Blogs were a topic again, as always and podcasting was a real big topic this year.  James then shares the schedule of the day at the summit and how the flow of the day went for everyone.

James discusses with Charles what the topic of his session was about.  You will learn that he basically showed everyone some of his older sites and then compared them to how far the industry has come by showing them the newer sites and how he builds them differently.

James and Charles get into a discussion on how to get some tips on discounted travel.  You will here tips that Arlene has become very proficient at and gives the example of getting a complimentary $550 room and how they got to take a air ride in the business class of the plane.

James and Charles talk about the merchant parties that are put together for the affiliates down at summit.  They host these parties to get affiliates together and attempt to get you on as one of their affiliates.  James shares some tips on how to negotiate with affiliate managers and ways to get them to help create content.

James shares the second party that was hosted back at the Winn with a chocolate fountain in the center for attendees to dip their strawberries in.  Beautiful parties in beautiful places fully hosted by the merchants.  James tells listeners that the next big event is in Orlando Florida and will be a great event to participate in.
