Tammy shares some of her biggest reasons for getting online is the ability to have a true passive income and build a site around her passion of scrapbooking. For her, scrapbooking is more than photos. It tells a story for others to see and she enjoys helping others succeed with this craft.
They talk about one of the biggest challenges she faces when working from home is procrastination. She shares how she battles this each day and gets herself organized with to do lists and even a timer to ensure she gets the job done.

Tammy shares that after completing the 26-week BootCamp she felt fully confident that she had completed every task to the T. This confidence gave way to confusion as she watched her newsletter opt-in conversion hang below 1%.
With James’ help she was able to identify room for improvement and shares the steps she took to dramatically change her conversion from less than 1% up to a baffling 10% almost instantly by making a few minor changes to her homepage.
As her conversion improved that wasn’t the only set back she resolved. After struggling with one of her merchants she decided to contact her network manager and seek advice on how to proceed. With the assistance of this manager Tammy was able to meet new merchants that were genuinely interested in building a relationship with her.
These new relationships, combined with a good relationship with her subscribers led to unexpected sales and happy visitors. Tammy disclosed that she realized the real power behind an email list and how it opened the to door to greater opportunities.
