In this edition of the Affiliate Buzz audio newsletter, James Martell, successful publisher, speaker and author talks with host Charles Johnston about making money online with affiliate marketing, placement of Google Ads on your pages and the importance of testing your changes.

James and Charles talk about James’ surprise 20th anniversary gift for his wife Arlene. He took his wife off for a 10 day trip to Maui for a luxury anniversary trip. James’ daughter Victoria joins the call to share what she has been able to do while in Maui including parasailing and snorkeling with large sea turtles.

James discusses with Charles about the total number of sites he has on the internet right now and the difference between which ones are making more money and what the difference is. James tells listeners that the sites earning more money are the ones they are focusing on.

James discusses with Charles the testing he has been performing to try and identify which ad size and location on the page would result in more click throughs. He tells listeners that after moving it the inset to the left of the first paragraph and he instantly had an increase in his percentage. Then He tried other tests and found another increase with his conversion.

James and Charles get into a detailed discussion on how to thoroughly test your pages to determine what is going to work on improving your conversions. James gives tips on testing one or two things at a time and after it has proven itself then make the changes across all your pages.

James and Charles wrap up this edition of the buzz by sharing what James is doing to make his goal real to him in order to ensure that it becomes part of his life, a burning desire to reach it. He shares how this process makes your goals real and motivates you to see how it is going to happen. James tells listeners that in the end it is really up to them.
