In this edition of the Affiliate Buzz audio newsletter, James Martell, successful publisher, speaker and author talks with host Charles Johnston about, Affiliate Summit, staying focused when meeting merchants and the resources available to affiliates down at the Summit.

James talks to Charles about his special invite to speak during a Saturday session and share his strategies to a group of serious and motivated affiliates and merchants. He talks about all the booths available to walk through and learn more about what programs are available to join.

James talks about ShareASales VIP party he had the pleasure to attend. They rented a $40,000 a night suite containing a large 10ft hot tub that hung over the edge of the building. They pulled out the baby grand piano and just had a really fun time getting to know some of the top people in the industry.

James walks through all the exhibits that are set up for the affiliates. He points out some of the major booths such as markethealth.com with up to 60% commission and ebay’s program as well. He tells listeners that when thinking of which program to pursue they should focus more on the manager support for the affiliates instead of what the commission being offered is. Those managers offer lots of tools to help manage your business so you want to have them available to you.
