James and Charles talk about the Martell’s trip up to Seattle Washington to take in a Mariners game. James shares that they headed over on Thursday and played tourist for a while before the game. He tells listeners that this business really makes it easy and enjoyable to pick up and take off for a 3 day trip to anywhere.
James discusses with Charles his typical morning at work. He shares that he commutes from the kitchen over to his desk and usually checks his stats first thing. He tells listeners that this is his favorite thing to do. They discuss the flexibility to take off for a nice lunch break at your own leisure in addition to breaks when you need them.
James and Charles talk about the maturity of the affiliate industry. James shares his recent experience with a merchant who approached him and offered to double his commission rate if he would give them the number one position on his page. James shares that the competition is out there and merchants are very motivated.

He tells listeners that the best way to achieve the highest results is by going after link partners both slowly and methodically.
James discusses with Charles about ways he stays motivated. He shares that he does a lot of traveling as part of his motivation. He tells listeners that he is a firm believer in work hard and play hard. James shares how planning mini trips will increase your productivity and help with your motivation.
