In this edition of the Affiliate Buzz audio newsletter, James Martell, successful publisher, speaker and author talks with host Charles Johnston about cleaning up your sites, the continued growth of the online industry, affiliate marketing online and the CJ interface and CJU.

James and Charles talk about some changes at the Martell house and a recent downturn on James sites. James tells listeners that he ran a test that went really wrong but now his sites are starting to bounce back and climbing real steady. He shares what he did differently on his sites to get them cleaned up and back ranking.

James and Charles talk about an entrepreneur school he is sending his son Justin to in Florida. James shares that the course is called the Student Leadership University and runs for four days. He talks about the process of doing different parts of the program in different parts of Florida.

James discusses with Charles how CJ simplifies the process of finding merchants. James tells listeners that CJ now has a dedicated office in the UK and that there are now more than 200 merchants to market for.

He talks about the ease of using the CJ management interface and how easy it is to use. He tells listeners that affiliates should really spend time in there and learning the network.

James and Charles some motivational advice as James recommends a book titled, The E-Myth by Michael Gerber out of Ca. The book explains why businesses fail and what to do about it. James says he has read it probably 5 times and it is a fabulous book to read. James also recommends listeners read, Pushing up People by Art Williams and Super Self by Charles Gibbons.
