In this edition of the Affiliate Buzz audio newsletter, James Martell, successful publisher, speaker and author talks with host Charles Johnston about using Elance to outsource for writers and graphics, the flexibility of working online and the importance of backlinks.

James discusses with Charles about his decision to let his commercial office go when the renewal came do and has set up his office in the home.  James shares that he has a massive home, too big in fact with 6 computers online.  They converted their formal dining room into an office for Arlene and is now set up and ready to go.  James shares that he now does all his hiring through elance an how it makes perfect sense to do it.

James talks with Charles about his new laptop and how he enjoys the flexibility to head down to the local pub and access the internet.  James shares the different places he can go find a hot spot, have a drink and be served lunch while making money online.  All that James needs to do in his business can be done at his favorite coffee shop and he is thrilled.

James and Charles talk about his new projects that he is currently working one.  He has been focusing on getting backlinks into his cellphone and baby site.  Additionally James is working on new sites in a couple very niche topic.

James and Charles discuss that Google has started filtering the backlinks so viewers are no longer able to see them all.  Then James shares with listeners a tip to view all the backlinks to a website to help in knowing how many you need to compete.  You can go to MSN and type; links:http(the website address) and then hit enter to see the inbound links.  James tells listeners that his goal for this conference is to better understand Google’s position on this.

James talks with Charles about different areas of setting a plan on building and succeeding at your business online.  James shares with listeners his approach and throws out a challenge to put everything else aside and start building your inbound links.  He challenges listeners to commit to getting 10 articles written and published each one containing 3 links to 3 pages on one website.
