Affiliate Buzz #111 – Finding the Tools You Need to Build a Fun and Exciting Business Online are Closer than You Think

In this edition of the Affiliate Buzz audio newsletter, James Martell, successful publisher, speaker and author talks with host Charles Johnston about getting ranked in the natural search results, where to find support and encouragement while you build your business and how to have fun making money with your long time hobby.
James gives Charles a little update on the progress of his newly launched site. He shares that after only one month he is getting natural search traffic from Google and has already reached a record day of 311 visitors. James shares the primary reason for this is that he isn’t wasting his time writing for the spiders.
He isn’t counting keywords at all. He gives an example of a recent article where he took a primary keyword, Mastratte XTX and had a really good 500 – 600 word article put together for his visitors.
James discusses with Charles that the kit car site has already been indexed for over 1,000 pages because each photo adds a page of content. He shares his hope that people are getting the idea that they don’t have to be bored with their websites. They can do something they really enjoy and make money while they have fun.

James talks about his opportunity to meet Carroll Shelby, the designer and builder of the Shelby Cobra. He was able to film the meeting and get an autograph for his daughter Shelby. This is another of James’ life long dreams come true. He looks back and realizes that he has created a website that is completely taking over his affiliate business and it brings him daily joy. He tells listeners, this isn’t work, it’s a hobby and he is getting paid to do it.
James talks with Charles about people’s concern of whether or not they have the time and if it is really worth going after. He tells listeners that those concerns are common and having others to interact with really helps to answer those questions. In the private members area participants can interact with other beginners and those who have been in the business a while to find support and encouragement as they make their affiliate business a success.
