Help Desk

Hi, it’s Arlene Martell here.

If you have a question, comment or need assistance of any kind please don’t hesitate to email, call, or send me a Tweet, which incidentally is often the fastest way to reach me.

I typically answer most calls and emails Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (Pacific Time), however because my office is in my home if the phone rings after hours I do try to pick it up. I also check voicemail messages and emails on weekends – so if I miss your call, please don’t worry, I promise to get back to you promptly.

Hi Arlene, I have bought from you guys before and am a good mate of Ed Keay Smiths in Australia. I would like to schedule a discussion with James to see if there is a fit for some coaching. I am in the middle/early stage of developing a membership/community site targeting Retaliers, my speciality. You have done it all before and I get bogged down on the technology and specific how to’s. I’m looking for hard and specific advice about HOW TO do a lot of the setup easily so I can get to the content creation. Can we have a quick chat to see if it’s a fit.

  2. Hi Arlene
I just saw James’ interesting new offer. Although I really can’t afford it, I thought I’d drop you this to say the idea is good; I’d benefit from it greatly no doubt. However…

What I really need or could use is someone to take a good overall look at where I’m at, what I’ve done, and what needs catching up on with the site; plus answering questions I might have on ‘how-to’ do this or that in relation to any of the content in the daily traffic videos I’m behind on. I know this would be tremendously helpful in addition to the coaching we receive weekly, the info in the DTV’s, and in the forum.

THAT would be of huge assistance to me…although I’m not sure what if any format might be available for delivering that. I know how incredibly busy James and all of you are. Also not sure if that level of assistance could be realistically delivered or accomplished within the limits of 8 weekly half-hour sessions…even if I could afford it.

I do definitely feel the need for more ‘something.’ I have far too many unanswered ‘day-to-day’ operational questions, ‘how-to’ and so forth, that are sometimes answered in the forum, sometimes not. The weekly sessions have been wonderful, better and better, but again the time is brief and of course James cannot focus on any one of us exclusively…although he’s done amazingly well, using my article lately as a group teaching tool and so forth…which is very greatly appreciated. And I’m doing my best to apply those lessons daily.

But more “one on one” would be extremely helpful. I wonder if a Site Critique of welders360 might be nearly as helpful for me at this point? Again I’m not sure. Just food for thought on that one.

On the other hand if James really thinks he could deliver an overall examination of where I’m at, what I’m lacking, and how to get it all caught up and plugged in within that time frame…or within the limits of this offer in other words…let me know. I’ll have to take a careful look at that.

One way or the other I’m definitely in this for success…but the faster I can begin to see real profitability…the sooner I can stabilize and continue to build. Right now it’s all money going out where the site is concerned…and that certainly cannot continue indefinitely. So I’ll consider every truly worthwhile strategy very carefully.

    Many thanks

    Dear Arlene:

I’m responding to James’ offer of coaching. I have a client website I’m starting the project of revamping altogether so that it is more navigationally intuitive, as well as starting the KY research from scratch to determine what to optimize it for so that it gets more traffic. It is a local cosmetic dentist’s site. I’m wondering if James’ coaching would help.

PS. I met you and James at a small Ken McCarthy seminar in Chicago in November of 08 and was inspired by both of you.

  4. Hi Martha, great to hear from you.

Sounds like an interesting project. I’ll have Arlene contact you if I may to set-up with a time for us to chat by telephone.

By the way, I just watched your video you did for Lori Feldman on the importance of having an unique service proposition. Nicely done.

    James

  5. Hi Andy, thanks for stopping by. It’s always nice to hear from a mate of Ed’s. I love that word mate. :)

And it’ll be great to chat with you about your project. I do love memberships sites. They are a great business model. I’ll have Arlene coordinate a time for us to talk first thing next week.

    James

  6. Hi Michael, all good stuff — and thanks for all the detail. I am just running out the door, but I’ll be in touch either over the weekend or the beginning of next week.

    James

    Dear James and Arlene,

I would love to accept James wonderful coaching offer which I badly need it. However I’m not able to afford it at this stage. Can you please book me for the future coaching in about 3-6 months?

Although I have a website and I add fresh articles consistently my marketing skills are not good at all. I promote a few affiliate products but my income is almost 0 and due to the poor traffic my data base is not growing.

My website cost me considerable amount of money as I’m outsourcing a writer for my ongoing articles. I’m aware I need to build backlinks and distribute more articles to various directories, blogs and much more.

Due to my full time work as a Nurse and working night shifts my time is very limited so I would need some good and fast remedies to get me to a position where eventually I will start generating some income from my website.

I have learned from you and Arlene so much and thanks to you I was able to create the website I have.

With your membership and your lovely support I’m moving forward but I desperately need some constructive helping hand.

I look forward to your suggestion at your convenience

    With my Sincere thanks,
    Bozena

  8. Hi James:

Looks like things are going well with both of you.

I met you at the System Seminar in Chicago 2009, sharing the Laga Handbags story, handbags made by tsunami survivors of Indonesia.

We were very fortunate that our Laga bags made it on the Oprah show April 13, 2010, and it was truly a miracle, we are still getting residuals from that show which is now playing in 140 countries.

We just launched an affiliate program, and don’t know much about them other than what I have read on your blog/newsletter.

I would like to see if there is a fit for your coaching program, I know that you are knowledgeable and that you most likely can enhance and expand what we are doing now.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon to schedule the 1/2 hour consultation.

    Best wishes,
