Hello James,
I considering starting to do some affiliate marketing. I’m a member of some networks now, but want to go a little deeper. I’m curious as to why it is so challenging to sign up for some networks. With some I would think I’m a perfect candidate, but they deny me. Why do you think that is?
I realize you’re probably busy, but I’d like to know as to why they make it so challenging.
Thanks!
I have had a chance to ask this exact question to many affiliate managers during my Coffee Talk interviews (upper menu). The primary issues are usually an incomplete application or website doesn’t match with the product.
You will find typically even if you application wasn’t accepted the first time, send an email explaining why you feel you are a good fit for their program, you will find that most will get back to you with a yes.
The other thing to note is the affiliate manager is attempting to weed out the fraudulent affiliate applications so everything you can do at your end to help them understand you’re for real the better your chances are of being accepted.
I would encourage you to listen to my Coffee Talk interviews with Lisa Riolo from ImpactRadius.com. She shared a wealth of information on this topic and others that I think you will find very helpful.

Hilo!, it is not easy to trust some products online. Especially those in ClickBank – I find that most of them do not deliver.
Yes, I agree it is very hard to know which products are trustworthy. There are so many being crappy products being sold to unsuspecting buyers. It is not surprising that so many get disappointed. A well written sales letter selling a poor quality course. It’s very unfortunate.
